These are the exact original transistors used in Thomas Vox amps from the 1960s. Most of these transistors are discontinued items and are no longer available. While you can still buy "generic, one size fits all" transistors from substitution suppliers, why not use the correct parts and keep your amp, and it's tone, original? Green/Yellow or Green Dot (Thomas #86-5044-2) S-NPN - The most common of Thomas Vox preamp transistors. I only have a handful of these to sell, and they are new old stock original parts I purchased from a company in California that bought the closeout of all Thomas electronic parts. Can be identified in your amp by either a green and yellow dot, or by just a green dot. May vary slightly in appearance from picture at left. Input FET (Thomas #86-5095-2) N-FET Transistor - Used in the preamp stage of Buckingham V1123, Guardsman V1133, Beatle V1143, Viscount V1153 and V1154. The device is a low noise FET used in the first input stage of the preamp. I only have about 50 of these to sell, and they are NOS (new old stock) original parts I purchased from a company in California that bought the closeout of all Thomas electronic parts.
